From Rock Concerts to 3D Innovation!
Sharing 30 Years of Event Mastery

I have over 30 years of experience as a stage manager, production leader, site manager, and project manager, with a background that spans film, events, trade fairs, concerts, and festivals. My journey into this creative and dynamic world began long before my professional career truly took off. It started in 1971 when, as a young boy with big dreams, I organized my first concert. But perhaps the spark ignited even earlier, in 1969, when I attended my very first rock concert. The energy, chaos, and connection I witnessed that day left an indelible mark on me—a passion that has driven me ever since.

From creating unforgettable event experiences to managing the intricate details of film productions, every role I’ve taken on has taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of a clear vision. I’ve worked in environments that required balancing high stakes, creative expression, and logistical precision—often all at once. Whether it’s crafting seamless concert productions, curating immersive festival experiences, or pushing the boundaries of event design, I’ve embraced every challenge with enthusiasm and determination.

Now, I am excited to bring my journey and insights to Sofia, Bulgaria, through a series of lectures. These sessions are tailored to young cultural students and professionals, offering a deep dive into stage and organization, festival and organization, artist production, and 3D stage and event design. Each lecture will also include an interactive Q&A session, providing a platform for meaningful dialogue and shared learning.

1. Stage and Organization

Stage production is the heartbeat of live performance, where creativity and logistics come together to create magic. In this lecture, I will delve into what it takes to establish a strong organizational foundation for productions to run smoothly from start to finish.

We will explore how to balance the artistic vision with the practicalities of production, emphasizing leadership, teamwork, and building a culture where everyone feels empowered to contribute. Drawing from decades of experience, I’ll share methods for staying adaptable and focused under pressure. The lecture will conclude with a Q&A session, allowing participants to ask questions and explore topics in greater depth.

2. Festival and Organization

Festivals are living, breathing ecosystems that unite people, ideas, and culture. Organizing a festival involves far more than just logistics; it’s about creating a unique experience that resonates with audiences and lingers in their memories.

In this lecture, I will guide participants through the process of crafting a successful festival, from initial concept to execution. Topics will include defining a strong vision, managing stakeholders, and ensuring all elements work together harmoniously. This session will be interactive, concluding with a Q&A where participants can bring their own challenges and questions to the table.

3. Artist Production

Artist production is an intricate dance of support, communication, and precision. It’s about ensuring that artists can focus on their craft while the logistics fall seamlessly into place behind the scenes.

In this lecture, I will share my approach to building trust with artists, fostering open communication, and addressing the unexpected with grace. Participants will gain insights into creating a supportive production environment and learn how to handle high-pressure situations without compromising the creative process. As always, the session will end with a Q&A to engage participants in a dynamic discussion.

4. Stage and Event Design in 3D

Innovation is shaping the future of event production, and 3D design is at the forefront of this evolution. In this lecture, I will introduce participants to the possibilities of 3D stage and event design, exploring how it can elevate the creative process and improve practical outcomes.

From planning to execution, 3D tools allow us to visualize and solve potential challenges before they arise. This lecture will provide an overview of the basics of 3D design and how it can be integrated into creative workflows. The session will conclude with a Q&A, offering participants the chance to ask detailed questions and brainstorm possibilities for their own projects.

Interactivity and Dialogue at the Core

For me, these lectures are not just an opportunity to share my experiences—they are a chance to create meaningful dialogue. I believe we grow through interaction and collaboration, and the Q&A sessions following each lecture are designed to foster this exchange.

Participants will have the chance to ask questions, share their perspectives, and explore new ideas. This interactive format ensures that the sessions are as enriching for me as I hope they will be for the participants.

A Step Forward Together

Sharing my knowledge in Sofia is a continuation of the journey that began in 1971 when I organized my first concert. Each experience—whether in film, events, trade fairs, concerts, or festivals—has shaped my approach and brought me to this point.

These lectures are more than just educational opportunities; they are a call to action. I hope to inspire participants to take bold steps in their careers, equipped with practical tools, fresh ideas, and the confidence to create something extraordinary.

Whether you are a seasoned professional or just starting your journey, I invite you to join me in exploring the endless possibilities of stage, festival, artist production, and 3D design. Together, we can create a community that pushes boundaries and redefines what’s possible.
