His most significant role to date came in Netflix’s The Billion Dollar Code, where he played a character spanning 25 years, giving him a complex and layered arc.

While he also appeared in The Postcard Killings, he describes his role there as minor, with little character development, making The Billion Dollar Code the true highlight of his career so far.

Loughran also played a role in the Lovecraft-inspired horror film Sacrifice and was featured in SKY’s The Lazarus Project, a series that has since been discontinued after its second season, which was filmed and released in the UK and USA.

Award-winning Swedish/Australian actor Lukas Loughran first appeared on the international scene after more than 10 years on the Swedish movie circuit with the arthouse feature “Soundtrack” alongside Ralph Ineson and Brazilian superstars Seu Jorge and Selton Mello in 2017. The same year, Lukas filmed “Incoming” with Scott Adkins, released in 2018. Since then he has appeared in “Krypton” from the Superman Universe, the zombie apocalypse dramedy “Zoo” alongside Zoe Tapper and Ed Speleers, “The Postcard Killings” with Jeffery Dean Morgan directed by Oscar-winner Danis Tanovic, and the Lovecraft inspired "Sacrifice".
