Embarking on Adventures and Discoveries at 62
After many years of hard work and dedication, I have now reached an important milestone in my life. Today, the papers were signed, officially marking the end of my employment from the end of August. Until then, I am completely free from work, giving me two and a half months to practically redirect my platform towards something I have dreamed of for so long. I am returning to my old freelance life, but now as a "jobbonär," remote worker and lecturer.
At 62 years old, I envision a new phase filled with adventures and discoveries. I have always had a passion for exploring and experiencing new places, and now I have the opportunity to realize this dream in a way that was previously only a vision.
The Life of a European Traveler
My journey as a European traveler will be based in the picturesque town of Bansko, Bulgaria. This charming mountain area, known for its fantastic ski slopes and beautiful hiking trails, will become my new home. But even though Bansko will be my base, I will always have one foot left in Gothenburg, the city where I have spent so many significant years.
Gothenburg, with its vibrant streets and rich culture, has shaped me in countless ways, and I look forward to maintaining a connection to this wonderful city, even as my adventures now take me to new places.
Opportunities and Challenges
What lies ahead is both exciting and challenging. Adapting to a new country and a new culture will require flexibility and an open mind—two qualities I have cultivated throughout my life. My unique ability to see opportunities where others see obstacles, which has served me well in my career and personal life, will be invaluable in this new phase.
I look forward to exploring Bansko’s hidden gems, learning about its rich history, and integrating into the local community. At the same time, I will continue to explore Europe, with all its diverse cultures and landscapes, something that has always fascinated me.
Developing a New Platform
Over the next few months, I will redirect my platform to suit my new goals and ambitions. It is time to turn chaos into opportunities and create something meaningful that reflects my passion for travel and discovery. With one foot in both Bansko and Gothenburg and a world of possibilities ahead of me, I look forward to creating a balance between being an active traveler and maintaining strong ties to my roots.
What is to come will undoubtedly be exciting. Life at 62 years old is just the beginning of a new and exciting journey filled with adventures, lessons, and endless possibilities. This website, "Me & Bo Life" marks the start of this thrilling adventure, and I am excited to share it with you.
Every morning I look out over the Pirin Mountains and drink my morning coffee in peace and quiet!
