Find future opportunities

In my life, I have always strived to find future opportunities, especially within the rapidly growing world of artificial intelligence (AI). My enthusiasm for technology and innovation has helped me overshadow the usual doubts that often accompany aging. Why wouldn't I be able to find a role in the future? Although it sometimes feels like the crystals in my ear canals are loosening due to all the speed and new opportunities, I have indeed found my place as a researcher. I view the development of AI tools from a philosophical perspective and do not let the fear of the unknown limit me.

My view of AI is curious and open; I am not afraid of the technology itself. However, I do worry about those who deny AI's potential and value. Those who try to undermine us who use these tools can be frustrating. When I use ChatGPT to formulate my thoughts and ideas, I often encounter comments like "you didn't write that yourself" or "I want you not to use that when you write." But the truth is that everything I write starts as thoughts in my head. When I input these thoughts into ChatGPT, I get back an almost perfect answer or a formulation of my question. 99% of my work is already complete; it's just the last percent that requires a bit more effort from me.

Despite the criticism, I remember the early days of technological innovations when skeptics warned that calculators would make us ignorant in mental arithmetic, that the internet was a fad, and that e-commerce was a bubble. Why are so many of us scared? Are the skeptics just ignorant?

Recently, when I applied for a new job, I used AI to tailor my resume to the job advertisement. I asked ChatGPT if my resume matched the job requirements and received detailed advice on what I could improve. Then I turned to another AI-based chatbot to prepare for a potential job interview. This "HR-bot" gave me insights into what questions I could expect and how I could prepare. Although I can polish my resume to perfection, in the end, I must stand by what I have accomplished and who I am.

This is the future – and I am part of it. With my experience and my ability to adapt to new situations, I feel well-prepared to not only fit in but also to contribute to improving people's lives. It is with this spirit of honesty and integrity that I move forward, ready to tackle the future, no matter how fast it changes.
