Moments of reflection

In my "moments of reflection" I often reflect on the role of ageism in society. How did it happen that young people are often prioritized, while the elderly, despite their experience and knowledge, are left aside? This question becomes especially apparent when we consider the world of sports, where veterans are celebrated, and fans want nothing more than to see their heroes play another season. Their routine, knowledge and experience are invaluable on the pitch, as proven time and again by their performances.

Why is it then that in other contexts, outside the arenas of sports, we tend to turn our backs on precisely these qualities? The experienced, the knowledgeable, those who with a simple glance or a deep intuition can move organizations and products forward at a speed that amazes.

I believe that the same valuing of experience, knowledge and patience that we see in sports can and should be applied in the wider business world. The "scarred" players in our sphere - those who have seen change, weathered adversity and are still standing strong - are invaluable. Their ability to intuitively navigate complexity and see opportunities where others see obstacles is a rare and valuable resource.

As a chaos pilot in project management and business development, I deeply believe that it is by appreciating and integrating this profound wisdom and experience that we can turn chaos into opportunity. Do not choose the experienced and knowledgeable, Learn from us, collaborate with us and together we create a future where experience is celebrated as much in the business world as on the sports field.
